Problem: ProHealth (the company attached to this project) needed help. They launched a membership program, that was very profitable for the company. The only problem was after a successful launch, membership started to decline because members would lose site of why they signed up in the first place.
Solution: I created an “exclusive, members-only” monthly newsletter to announce healthy tips, wellness motivation, exclusive member offers and discounts, and health initiatives. Members received the newsletter in their preferred method of either mail or email. We named the publication, “Live Well.”
Results: Before the newsletter, members had not realized everything that the membership entailed, thus they felt like it was not worth their money. After tracking the effects of this publication for 4 months, ProHealth saw an increase in frequent membership usage. Additionally, the rate of suspending memberships went down significantly. I have heard numerous positive testimonials about the significance of the newsletter from members and also business owners that supply the membership for their coworkers. To this day, the monthly publication serves as a reminder to members that they are getting a great deal and lots of perks!
